Neighborhood shelter dogs and cats got a chance to create some art today.
Dipped in paint, animals at the Walker County Shelter left their mark -- literally -- on some canvases.
The Foothills Gallery will display the pictures in its spring show.
Project organizer Suzanne Royal says the four-legged art is already attracting attention online.
Royal says, "I put some out on the internet already and there's an actual bidding war on one of the paintings already, it's a little small painting already, it's a little small painting that looks like it has two yellow pansies on it and it's actually a dog's footprints."
The Paws for Art show will open April 24th at the Foothills Gallery.
Proceeds from the sales go to Wally's Friends spay and neuter clinic.
