Do you support a Digital Products/iPOD Tax on Downloads?

If some of the high paid Government execs would live a little cheaper like we ordinary people have to, and pay for their own gasoline like we have to, perhaps some of the budget could be met and even lowered.

I think if you are going to do any sales tax change at all, it should be something that affects everyone and not just particular people/groups. Taxes should be "fair" to all people and not just homeowners, car owners, taxpayers and so on. It's the working class that get socked with taxes while the lazy get lazier. Find something that makes all people pay into it......well most people because some are always going to live off the government and live freely forever.

FYI.... DID YOU KNOW THAT MOST CONGRESSMEN MAKE CLOSE TO (AT LEAST) $250,000 A YR, YET THEY DON'T EVEN PUT IN 30 HRS? DID YOU KNOW THAT EVEN WHEN THE GOVERNMENT SAID " YOU NEED TO COME TO WORK AT LEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK," MOST STILL DON'T? DID YOU KNOW THAT MOST ARE STILL ABOVE THE LAW? (MAINLY BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT OR BECAUSE OF SPECIAL INTERESTS GROUPS COVER FOR THEM...) JUST FYI...

The big question really should be: Which sales tax would be collected? Is the point of sale of these downloads where the buyer resides? Where the seller resides? Where the website server is located and, if so, which server since most large sites have mirror sites around the world? or where the buyer actually is when they download the material since I could download some in Dalton, others while in Chattanooga, or on the road in Texas? With brick and mortor sales, it is where I am when I buy the item, paying Chattanooga sales tax when I am there and Dalton sales tax when I am down there.
