Former Hamilton County Sheriff Billy Long returns to federal court Monday afternoon presumably to change his plea to guilty.
The FBI arrested Long in February after several months of investigation on extortion, money laundering, drug and gun charges.
He resigned a few days later.
Long is scheduled to go to trial May 13th, but will go before Judge Sandy Mattice for rearraignment this afternoon.
