Emergency crews take one person to the hospital after a jet ski accident Friday night.
Two jet skis collided after 9 o'clock in the Tennessee River near the water front.
A person on land saw it and called 9-1-1.
Chattanooga Fire and rescue crews went to help.
Bruce Garner with the Chattanooga Fire Department says, "We found out the fire rescue boat was going have to go through the lock system which is going to take too long. So, two of our firefighters basically hitched a ride on a civilians boat, and they went out to the crash site where the two jet skis collided."
They found three victims, two men and one woman.
The woman was seriously injured on the leg and ribs.
Firefighters strapped her to a body board and took her back to EMS crews on the dock.
All the victims were wearing life jackets.
TWRA and Chattanooga Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
