Should schools be able to ban images like the Confederate flag or Malcolm X that could stir racial reactions? (see story)

I'M NOT RACIAL.... I HATE EVERYBODY EQUALLY. I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN MAN-KIND (AND WOMAN-KIND) ALIKE. IF THE WORLD ENDED TOMORROW, I WOULD CRY ONLY FOR MY CHILDREN.... NOTHING MORE.

The nuts are running the nuthouse, and soon we will be embroiled in another world war, which could be the last for the human race. Humans appear to be de-evolving. Each new generation are becoming more like cortex thinkers, (mindless, self centered eaters, like sharks), and have no set of morals or social values, nor social skills. It's gotten to where I'm looking forward to the last big one just to get it over with and weed out the chaff of humanity as they, (the youth), certainly don't have any of the skills to survive. Every great society has to grow, plateau, and die. In a way it's kind of interesting to have a front row seat as we watch the new Roman empire, (America), and yes, the world at large, in its decline and demise. I just hope that someone has the good sense to chronicle the truth about what is happening here so that our posterity, (if any survive), will hopefully learn not to make the same mistakes.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! Look at the other countries where these "politically correct" jerks have been allowed to bully their way into power. I think that if there are any people left there who are capable, or not afraid to express their true feelings, they would tell you where we are headed. When the whiners and liberals, the "moral majority" as they call themselves, are allowed to dictate what is right for everyone else we are headed straight into a fascist state. First, your freedom of expression, free speech, ideas, ideals, then the rest of your rights will easily fall like dominos to their constant attack. Again, I can only paraphrase, "Anyone who would give up even one of their rights for security, (false security), deserves none of their rights.

You sound like the kind of liberal whiner that would let the government take away all of our rights just to appease certain "minority" groups that just want to be equal, yeah, more equal than anybody else. When everything is considered "hate crimes", and punishable by stiffer prison sentences than actual crimes, the velvet glove will come off of the iron fist, and you will see where that liberal crap gets us. Stand up for your people, don't be afraid to call a duck a duck, and be proud of who YOU are and your heritage. We all have something worth preserving, but the way things are going only certain groups will be able to keep ramming their culture down everyone else's throats.

The worst biggots I have ever seen are black. They have fussed and whined until they have made everything a racial issue. The gods of old were nothing more than some kind of intergalactic slave runners, and we were meant to be the next crop of slaves. They fought over their property, (us, the slaves), which is very well chronicled in the bible and other much older texts, and the victors became the "god" that modern "slaves", (ie monotheists), worship today.

I think the comments would be about school safety and you all have turned the subject to ignorance and stupidity!! I believe away from school kids/adults should be able to wear/display whatever they want. But when you are talking about something that symbolizes hate, whether white or black, school is not the place for it. So, by all means, schools should have the right to ban any dress that would inspire anger or hate. What you , (and some other ignorant southerners), call the "southern flag", or the "confederate flag", is actually not the flag of the Confederate States of America. The "stars and bars" are, in reality, the battle standard of the first cavalry of the confederate army. The first cavalry was the largest and most engaged unit of the confederate armed forces during the terrible war now known as the civil war, or the war between the states, and as such, their battle standard, the stars and bars, was seen flying over most of the engagements of that war. Aside from your lack of English skills, your ignorance of the true history involved here makes you, and others from the south, sound ignorant and stupid. Please educate yourself before you spout off. Other than that I completely agree with you.

unfortunately, you are correct. but what is worse is it seems that "what is good for you is not good for me" i mean really, if we were jsut talking about banning a malcolm x shirt, the NAACP would be all over that. same thing as with Christians. why is it that we can ban all things Christian, but when it comes to other religions, they have a "right"??
