Chattanooga Police investigate a suspicious death on the South Side.
Officers were called to the overpass in the 2900 block of South Broad Street about 5pm Saturday on a report of a body found in Chattanooga Creek.
Major Crimes was called in, and they sealed off the area.
Chattanooga Police say the body was that of a  white male, but the cause of death is still not clear.
They're continuing to look for clues in the incident, and questioning anyone that might have been in the area.
Lt. Kim Noorbergen says, "We're talking to, there's a homeless camp in the nearby area, we're talking to some of those guys to see if maybe if they'd seen anything or talked to anybody. So, right now we're just not really clear on what happened."
Two people, a man and a woman, were placed in police units for questioning, but neither has been charged with a crime.
