Chattanooga is preparing to host the football subdivision national title game for the 12th year in-a-row. The game will go down on December 19th at Finley Stadium.
NCAA reps were in town on Tuesday, prepping for the championship match-up.
This game has sold-out the last couple of years, and it sounds like it'll be another tough ticket this season.

Said Damani Leech, NCAA Director of Football and Baseball,"At this point, we haven't even started selling tickets to the general public. And just based on the team tickets we have allotted, and the pre-sales that we have done with local groups
and corporations. There are not a lot of tickets left for folks in the general public to buy them. So when tickets go on sale on October 15th, they're going to have to get them right away."
Now that the game is a sell-out, crowd control is a concern. New security measures will go into effect this year, including no alcohol sales at the First Tennessee Pavillion, which is next door to Finley Stadium. Plus some additional seating will be eliminated.
Said Merrill Eckstein with the Chattanooga Sports Committee,"We're going to close off the east end zone, the hill side. We will not allow any fan seating out there, which we've done the last couple of years. That'll cut into the number of tickets we can sell by a thousand, but for security purposes to keep the game going. As opposed to the crowd flowing onto the field, as we experienced last year."
