Bargain hunters can buy hotel furniture at a local liquidation sale.
The Liquidation Center in East Ridge must sell off furniture from six hotels between now and February. They have 1200 items including patio sets, bedding, furniture, and artwork from the Omni Hotel in Atlanta. The hotel was hit by a tornado in March.
As those items sell, they'll make room for more furniture from Harrah's casino in Louisiana. In mid December they'll get 200 televisions.
Lila Wingo, "It's really top quality stuff, armoires are $225, they hold a big TV and have drawers on the bottom, we have headboards, desk, chairs."
The Liquidation Center is located on Mack Smith Road in East Ridge. They accept cash, check, Visa and Mastercard. They're open Sunday from 2-5, closed Monday, and Tuesday-Saturday 10-6.
