PUBLIC’S HELP NEEDED TO SOLVE TBI COLD CASE
[0]Larry Clay KnightJasper, TN- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is urging the public to contact authorities with any information that could lead to solving a ten-year-old homicide case out of Marion County, TN.
Larry Clay Knight, 52 at the time of his death, was found stabbed to death in his home, 107 Marilyn Drive in Jasper, TN on January 28, 1999.
Someone, who had an appointment with Knight, arrived at his home at 8:30 that morning.
When Knight didn’t answer the door, the visitor contacted authorities. The Jasper City Police Department made entry into the home and discovered Knight dead inside.
Police also found evidence of a struggle.
A time line created during the investigation revealed that Knight was at a local market at 5:00 pm the evening prior and at a neighbor’s house an hour later.
That was the last time he was seen alive.
At approximately 3:30 am, before the body was discovered a small car with no description was seen parked across from the victim’s driveway.
The car was not recognized and neither the car nor its driver nor Knight’s killer has ever been found.
