Family's Feud About Missing Dispatcher

The search for missing 911 operator Theresa Parker continues tomorrow with more foot pounding. Searchers will tackle a large grid along the Walker And Chattooga county line. That's where they say Parker placed her last cell phone call. But tonight family members are squaring off on what role her troubled domestic life may have played in the disappearance.
WDEF News 12's Chris Nettleton has our top local story.
The After days of examining Sgt. Sam Parker's home, police cruiser, and body ... Parker's sister addressed the media on his behalf, trying to clear her brother's name in the case of his missing wife, Theresa Parker.
"To the best of sgt. Parker's knowledge none of this searches, examinations, or questions have led to any evidence of him having knowledge of or having participated in his wife's disappearance," said Carolyn Wooten.
But just minutes later Theresa's sister, Christina Hall, spoke to the media about the state of Sam and Theresa's marriage which, she said, included domestic abuse. "I know of an incident last year where she was really scared she was really afraid and she told me, she looked me in the eyes and told me she was afraid she was gonna die that night. And you know maybe I shouldn't be saying that but it's just the truth. You know and that's when she filed for divorce."
The press conference quickly moved into a prayer vigil as a large group of family and friends crowded the courthouse steps.
"We all need to pray for her safe return, and pray that our greatest fears do not become a reality. And no harm has come to her yet," said Theresa's brother-in-law Jonathan Wilson.
Meanwhile Crews will continue their search for Theresa Saturday morning at 9am. Anyone with knowledge of the southern half of Walker County is asked to join the search.![]()
