Market Street Bridge Renovation Ahead of Schedule

     The Market Street Bridge renovation jumps ahead of schedule.
     Project managers made the announcement during a tour highlighting the progress. Crews will finish the Market Street Bridge project before September's target date, but they won't give an
exact date. Project manager Jerry Britton points out there are still many things that need to be done before crews can re-open the bridge, "we've got to seal the deck, we've got to groove the deck.. We've got to paint, re-paint the whole bridge, and, we've still got to fix some patching underneath."
     Britton says handrails that need to be re-furbished individually have presented one of the biggest, most time-consuming challenges.
