Jeff Probst, the host of CBS's hit show "Survivor" wants to know if you have what it takes to be the ultimate survivor? Now's your chance to find out! WDEF News 12 along with 107.9 the Duke will videotape your audition at the WDEF News 12 Survivor Tent at Riverbend! Look for the WDEF News 12 Survivor Tent under the Olgiati Bridge--just follow your official Riverbend site map available at favorite area sites all over the Tennessee Valley or stop by the WDEF News 12 Studios and pick one up.
Here's how it works!
[0] In order to audition you must be 21 years of age or older at the time of the application. Applications are available for downloading here [1] in PDF format. Print, fill out completely, sign and bring with you to the Survivor Casting Call at the WDEF News 12 Tent at Riverbend. It's strongly recommended that you fill out your application ahead of time as the form is lengthy. Then don't forget to bring it with you to the Survivor Casting Call as no one will be allowed to tape their casting call audition without submitting a completed application form in person. Applications will also be made available on-site at the WDEF News 12 Survivor tent at Riverbend. Come to the WDEF News 12 Tent prepared to audition between 5:00PM-9:00PM every night of Riverbend (NO AUDITIOINS ON MONDAY NIGHT 6/11TH). Opportunities to audition are not guaranteed and time slots are going to be available on a first come first serve basis. In front of a WDEF News 12 camera and producer, contestants will be asked to talk up to 2 minutes about why they should be chosen to compete on Survivor! Each contestant will be timed and stopped at 2 minutes.
Keep this in mind...Survivor producers watching the audition tapes will be looking for the following traits: strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, physically and mentally adept, and adaptable to new environments and can demonstrate interesting liseftyles, backgrounds and personalities. WDEF News 12 will be working in cooperation with CBS and Survivor to send tapes of the casting call along with applications to be viewed by the show producers. Some will be invited to NEXT LEVEL interviews if their audition catches the eye and interest of show producers. Only those selected for NEXT LEVEL interviews by CBS will be contacted.
