Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I posted a comment. Why can't I see it on the site?
A: All comments must be approved by a site moderator before published. Depending on the volume of comments this may take longer on heavy-traffic days.
Q: Why did my comment get blocked on WDEF.COM?
A: If your comment is not approved there are a few scenarios in which it may be blocked:
1. A comment is abusive, off-topic, uses excessive foul language, is exceptionally incoherent, includes an ad hominem attack, racist, sexist, homophobic and other slurs or is soliciting and/or advertising.
2. A commenter has previously posted comments that include any of the elements listed in #1, we will more closely moderate your comments and it will take longer for them to get approved.
3. Although rare, we will ban accounts entirely if a commenter continually violates site policy.
