Melody, "I notice they're swimming around in there nicely so they're proving that their arms and legs are moving well."
Melody points out both babies have two feet, a stomach, two kidneys, and five fingers on each hand.
Melody, "Right now they have everything they should they're doing everything they should so we feel really good about them."
But what about mom?
Dr. Cassandra Whitaker, OB GYN "Your tummy is actually measuring about 20 weeks and we know the babies are sixteen." Doctor Whitaker says with twice the size, twins come with double the risk. So moms tend to deliver twins a month early. She says ultrasounds are the best way to make sure the babies are growing at the same rate. Including the sexes.
Melody, " A boy in Twin A"
Nordia, "I guess you can rest assured now at least they won't be two girls that was his biggest fear he said I'd never sleep.
Eric, Yeah I'd never sleep.
Melody, "Two girls I think that's a father's biggest fear. Twin B appears to be a boy as well. Congratulations times two."
We wanted at least one girl and after hearing John's story I still have hope. His ultrasound tech first said they were having a boy and a girl and as you know it turned out to be two girls so you never know.
