Should EPB Restrict Adult Content In Their Fiber TV Package? (see story)

I too am Anti-porn, but who are we to tell another what to do ,say, act in the PRIVACY of there own home?

I mean if you take the PPV off the network then the consumer who enjoys watch it will go to a store off ROssville and purchase the movies. I do not have to pay the network anything if I'm not watching it. so why worry what Joe Blow is pay for in his home it's not like he invited you into his or her bedroom to watch..

It's not 1920's anymore it'snearly 2010 but even back then there were the little WHore housesabove the Local saloon. and even in the BIBLE there where wife's swapping for the Kings.it's not going away it's just more techno now.. you can get it for free on the Internet

People truly need to mind there own and worry about there own. If people are truly grumbling because of the Children. then give your children more attention at home,stop paying more attention to your cellphone,computers,and what your co-workers or fake church members think about you "WHAT ABOUT HOW YOUR CHILDREN NEED YOU" you wanted to have children then do something with them and then maybe they would not be out on the streets finding the wrong,attention getting Preganant,stealing, orbeing in Jail or worse DEAD. Make a NAME for your self in your CHILD's eyes. then maybe Porn wouldn't be of such importance.

I'm a mother of two 11, 18 . I have taught my kids right from wrong, and had the sex talks, drugs, parties, but I am also very active in there lives, I don't take trips without my kids they are with me.. I work long hard hours, but when I am home we eat at the FAMILY TABLE and TALK without the T.v on. or answering a cell phone . Let the answering MAchine answer, that's what it is for. set bonderies for your friends and co-workers not just for your Children.. your children should be first ALWAYS..
then maybe unexpected baby's out of Marriage at a Young age would slow down or stop.. but doubtful because Parents are not going to put there social life on hold, but then blame the rest of the world on there crisis. pity. It's Our Fault people . Not the OWners to the Children.. GROW UP.. DO the RIGHT thing.. Take Parenting class it's never tolate no matter what age your children are..

There are a whole lot worse shows on regular T.V. that kids can watch. Maybe if parents did their job as parents they would'nt have to worry about what their kids watch. Give me more PORN over MORE DEATH any day of the week!!!

I have seen alot of graphic stuff on cable, but, what I find gross are shows like CSI, NCIS, ect... cutting open bodies. However when I watch shows that have love, romance and straight up sex in it, 2 things are going to happen,#1 I'm going to laugh my butt off or #2 I'm going to makelove to my husband and is that really so bad????

You people who shelter your kids and others from something that people have been doing since the beginning of time....word of warning...bible thumpers daughters are always the most fun and end up pregnant at 14 to 15 years old, because they were not taught to be responsible and were completely uniformed!

When I was a child and I accidently saw sex on cable, it just meant that my mom and dad had to do their job as parents and explain to me what was going on, something they were going to have to do anyway, why not have pictures to go with it. It all boils down to the fact that people don't want to take responsibility and teach their children the facts of life and that's why we have all these people running around who don't know the difference between right and wrong!

One other thing, the only reason this is a problem, is that, the lazy parents who use a T.V. as a babysitter, will actually have to do their job and watch their kids, like they should do in the first place, instead of blaming someone or something eles!

Some more sour grapes from Comcast, who has offered adult content for years. Get over it, you're not the company store anymore!

Some folks are offended more easily than others. What some people laught at, others simply do not get. People need to choose their own entertainment. Humans can be as different as day and night even in the same family. If we were all amused by the same things this would be a very boring world! Adult content would be hard to govern. Of course porn is dangerous and disgusting and should be illegal.

I'm anti-porn but I still don't think the govt. or anyone else should tell us how to live our lives. We've already had enough of our freedoms taken away. With the govt. on one side and the churches on the other, it's hard to hang on to freedom.

Do you really need law makers protecting you from yourself? Or is it that you want to make sure everyone is as moral and upstanding in their beliefs as you are?
