Recap: Miss State vs. Arkansas

Starkville, MS (Sports Network) - Arnett Moultrie tallied a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to help lift the Mississippi State Bulldogs past the Arkansas Razorbacks 79-59 in an SEC regular-season finale at Humphrey Coliseum.

Dee Bost recorded 16 points, seven assists, and six rebounds for Mississippi State (21-10, 8-8 SEC), which has won back-to-back games. Brian Bryant added 15 points and Jalen Steele chipped in with 12 points for the Bulldogs.

For Arkansas (18-13, 6-10), B.J. Young led the way with 16 points. Mardracus Wade netted 12 points and Rashad Madden chipped in 10 points for the Razorbacks, who close out of the regular season having lost five of six.

Mississippi State got out to a comfortable 37-23 lead at the half behind 48.3 percent shooting. Arkansas made just 32.1 percent of its field goals in the opening stanza.

The Razorbacks field goal percentage improved to 50 percent after the break, but the Bulldogs kept pace by making 55.6 percent from the floor in the second half.

Mississippi State won the battle on the boards, 36-27.
