Recap: Georgia vs. South Carolina

Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Gerald Robinson registered a game-high 23 points to lead the Georgia Bulldogs to a 67-55 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Southeastern Conference regular-season finale at Stegeman Coliseum.

Robinson hit 8-of-13 from the field, including a 4-for-6 mark from long range, in the win for Georgia (14-16, 5-11 SEC). Nemanja Djurisic pulled down a game- high 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who have won two of their last three.

Malik Cooke scored 17 points to lead the way for South Carolina (10-20, 2-14), while Bruce Ellington notched 10 points in the loss.

Both squads came out cold and shot just over 37 percent from the field during the opening frame, but the Bulldogs managed to hit 5-of-11 from beyond the arc to gain a 30-23 halftime advantage.

The Bulldogs then used a 20-of-26 effort at the foul line over the final 20 minutes to capture the 12-point verdict.

The Gamecocks shot just 36.7 percent from the floor in the loss.
