Recap: Montana vs. Northern Ariz

Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - Derek Selvig paced four teammates in double figures with 19 points as the Montana Grizzlies took down the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 78-60 in Big Sky Conference action at Dahlberg Arena.

Selvig also added eight rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and three steals for Montana (21-6, 13-1 Big Sky), which won its 10th straight game. Kareem Jamar scored 14 points, Mathias Ward added 13, and Will Cherry chipped in 11 for the Grizzlies.

The loss for Northern Arizona (5-23, 1-14) is its 15th in a row, which ties a school record. Gabe Rogers tallied 18 points for the Lumberjacks and Durrell Norman added 11 points.

Montana took a commanding 43-24 lead into halftime behind a lofty 56.3 percent field goal shooting. Northern Arizona shot just 26.5 percent in the half.

The Grizzlies field goal percentage shrunk to 42.9 percent in the second half but they kept a comfortable lead throughout.

Neither team took good care of the ball, with Montana turning it over 15 times while Northern Arizona coughed it up 22 times.
