Recap: Montana State vs. Northern Ariz

Bozeman, MT (Sports Network) - Shawn Reid scored 23 points on Monday, leading Montana State to a 79-60 win over Northern Arizona.

Christian Moon added 15 points, Tre Johnson had 14 and nine rebounds and Mohamed Fall finished with 10 points for the Bobcats (12-16, 7-9 Big Sky), who halted an eight-game slide. They will face Portland State on Saturday in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament.

Norman Durrell had 17 points and nine rebounds to pace the Lumberjacks (5-24, 1-15), who finished the season on a 16-game losing streak. James Douglas added 11 points while Gaellan Bewernick and Gabe Rogers both had 10.

Reid hit four three-pointers and scored 14 points in the first half, helping Montana State to a 45-31 lead at the break. As a team, the Bobcats made 7- of-13 three-pointers over the opening 20 minutes of play.

They led for the entire second half, getting another nine points from Reid and six from Johnson en route to the comfortable victory.
