Recap: Jacksonville St vs. Tenn-Martin

Jacksonville, AL (Sports Network) - Ronnie Boggs and Darion Rackley scored 14 points each as the Jacksonville State Gamecocks coasted to a 77-46 victory over the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in an Ohio Valley Conference tilt at Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Tarvin Gaines chipped in 13 points for JSU (14-17, 8-8 OVC), while Brian Williams netted 12 points. Rinaldo Mafra collected nine rebounds as the Gamecocks won their third game in a row.

Mike Liabo paced UTM (4-27, 0-16) with 20 points as the Skyhawks finished their regular season without a win in conference play.

JSU took a 40-27 lead into the intermission after it shot 59.3 percent from the floor in the opening period. The Skyhawks managed to make 33.3 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half.

The Gamecocks ran away with it after the break attempting 12 more field goals and shooting 42.9 percent from the floor. UTM was very ineffective on the offensive end as it made only six of its 23 attempts from the field in the final 20 minutes.

JSU enjoyed a 45-26 advantage in the rebounding battle.
