Recap: Oregon vs. Utah

Eugene, OR (Sports Network) - Devoe Joseph scored 21 points as the Oregon Ducks made easy work of the Utah Utes 94-48 to end the Pac-12 Conference regular season at Matthew Knight Arena.

Chris Emory added 19 points for Oregon (22-8, 13-5 Pac-12), which has won four in a row and locked up the third-seed and a first round bye in next week's conference tournament. Garrett Sim added 13 points for the Ducks and Olu Ashaolu and E.J. Singler netted 12 apiece.

For Utah (6-24, 3-15), Jason Washburn recorded 26 points, but the rest of the team combined for just 22. The Utes are now losers of 10 of their last 11.

Oregon got out to a commanding 52-14 halftime lead behind a red-hot 65.6 percent from the floor in the opening stanza. Utah shot a woeful 5-of-22 from the field in the first half.

The Utes improved their shooting to 46.7 percent in the second half but the Ducks continued its torrid pace after the break to cruise to victory.

Oregon connected on 15-of-33 from three-point range in the game.

Extra Points: Snyder and the Beltway radio wars

If contradiction was an Olympic sport, Chip Kelly would certainly be medal-worthy judging by his performance at the NFL's owners meeting but the Eagles coach might have to settle for silver because Daniel Snyder's critics will take the gold every time.

2015 PREVIEW NL EAST: It's the Nationals and everybody else

There isn't much after that. The Miami Marlins are loaded up for a playoff push -- likely through a wild card spot -- and the New York Mets are up-and- coming but still raw. The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies, former powerhouses of the division, are going through rebuilds and won't contend anytime soon.
