Recap: Columbia vs. Dartmouth

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Meiko Lyles scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Columbia Lions to a 61-55 victory over the Dartmouth Big Green in an Ivy League bout at Levien Gymnasium.

Mark Cisco added 15 points and nine rebounds for Columbia (15-15, 4-10 Ivy League), which snaps a six-game losing streak.

For Dartmouth (5-25, 1-13), Jvonte Brooks led the way with 17 points. R.J. Griffin netted 12 points and Gabas Maldunas chipped in 10 points for the Big Green, who have lost four in a row and 12 of 13.

Both teams shot below 37 percent from the field in the first half as Columbia took a slim 23-22 lead into intermission.

Dartmouth tied the game, 26-26 with 17:58 left in the game, and then brought its deficit to within one, 54-53 with 1:58 remaining, but it could never overtake the Lions.

Columbia shot 7-of-15 from three-point range for the game, while Dartmouth made just 1-of-11 from beyond the arc.
