Recap: Furman vs. Chattanooga

Greenville, SC (Sports Network) - Brandon Sebirumbi finished with a double- double of 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Furman Paladins to a 65-55 win over the Chattanooga Mocs in a Southern Conference tilt at Timmons Arena.

Jordan Loyd added 10 points in the win for Furman (14-14, 8-9 SoCon).

Ricky Taylor tallied 13 points to pace the Mocs (10-20, 4-13), while Ronrico White chipped in 10 points off the bench.

The Mocs were held to a miserable 26.9 percent from the floor during the opening period of play, allowing Furman to take a 30-26 lead into the break.

The Paladins then shot at a respectable 46.2 percent clip over the final 20 minutes en route to a 10-point decision.

The Paladins won the battle of the boards by a 43-33 margin.
