Recap: Troy vs. Ark-Little Rock

Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Chuck Guy paced four teammates in double figures with 16 points to lead the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans past the Troy Trojans 74-62 in overtime in a Sun Belt Conference bout at Sartain Hall.

D'Andre Williams scored 13 points and Ben Dillard added 12 off the bench for UALR (14-14, 11-3 Sun Belt), which has won six of its last seven games. Tramar Sutherland chipped in 10 points while Michael Javes grabbed 11 rebounds.

Alan Jones netted 17 points to lead the way for Troy (8-17, 3-11), which has lost six of seven. Justin Wright contributed 10 points.

Troy shot 43.5 percent from the floor in the first half while UALR went a dismal 6-of-26 from the field as Troy took a 74-62 lead into halftime.

Troy led by six, 45-39, with 9:12 remaining, but UALR went on an 11-2 run to take a 50-47 lead with 2:55 left. After the teams exchanged a few more leads down the stretch, a pair of Wright free-throws with nine seconds left tied the game at 56-56. A Williams' three-point attempt at the buzzer did not fall and the squads went to overtime.

UALR scored the first eight points in the extra frame to seal the victory.

UALR converted 17 Troy turnovers in 18 points.
