Recap: Jacksonville St vs. Presbyterian

Jacksonville, AL (Sports Network) - Brian Williams scored 20 points as the Jacksonville State Gamecocks bested the Presbyterian Blue Hose 67-48 in a BracketBuster game at Pete Matthews Coliseum.

Darion Rackley added 17 points for the Gamecocks (12-17), who had lost two of their previous three. Tarvin Gaines added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

A'Lonzo Coleman scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Blue Hose (12-15), who had won four of their previous five. Khalid Mutakabbir chipped in 11 points.

Jacksonville State led 28-21 at halftime despite shooting just 34.5 percent from the floor in the first half. Presbyterian shot just 31.8 percent from the floor.

Jacksonville State got hot in the second half, shooting 61.9 percent from the field. Presbyterian shot 45 percent from the floor after halftime.

The Gamecocks turned the ball over just eight times.
