Recap: Davidson vs. Furman

Asheville, NC (Sports Network) - De'Mon Brooks, Chris Czerapowicz, and Tyler Kalinoski all scored 17 points to lead the Davidson Wildcats past the Furman Paladins 73-54 in a quarterfinal game of the Southern Conference Tournament at U.S. Cellular Arena.

Davidson (23-7), the top-seed in the South Division of the Southern Conference, will play the Elon Phoenix in the semifinals.

For fifth-seeded Furman (15-16), Charlie Reddick and Colin Reddick scored 10 points apiece.

Davidson got out to a comfortable 37-27 lead after the first half behind 46.7 percent field goal shooting.

The Paladins never got within 10 points of the lead after halftime.

Furman shot just 37.7 percent from the field in the game and turned the ball over 16 times.
