The Stags led by double digits for the majority of the second half, but Robert Morris was able to muster up a late rally and it got to within a basket, 57-55, with 1:11 left in the game. The Colonials would get no closer however, as Fairfield extended its lead to four on the next possession and it drained six free-throws down the stretch to seal the win.
