University Park, PA (Sports Network) - Olivier Hanlan scored 22 points, shooting 15-of-19 at the free-throw line, as he helped lead the Boston College Eagles to a 73-61 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Joe Rahon added 14 points and Lonnie Jackson dropped in 10 off the bench for the Eagles (3-4) in the victory as well.

The Nittany Lions (3-3) were paced by Jermaine Marshall who tallied a game- high 25 points, followed by D.J. Newbill with 22 in the losing cause. Ross Travis shot only 2-of-9 from the field and finished with five points, but did play tough in the paint as he cleared a game-high 13 rebounds.

Penn State led by a basket early in the meeting, but the team ended up shooting just 39.1 percent from the floor, including 3-of-10 beyond the arc in the period, which left the hosts with a 31-24 deficit at the break.

In the second half PSU again struggled from the field (.333), while Boston College took advantage of 23 trips to the free-throw line, sinking 17 shots, as it claimed the 12-point road win.

In addition to shooting only 6-of-20 beyond the arc in the contest, the Nittany Lions were also outscored by 10 at the charity stripe, 27-17.
