Recap: Furman vs. Clemson

Greenville, SC (Sports Network) - Devin Booker scored 15 points as the Clemson Tigers went on the road to dismiss the Furman Paladins, 72-55, at Timmons Arena.

K.J. McDaniels scored 11 points and Damarcus Harrison added 10 points for the Tigers (2-0), while Rod Hall recorded nine points and six assists. In all, eight different players scored at least six points for Clemson.

For Furman (1-2), Stephen Croone put up 15 points on 6-of-7 from the field, but he also committed six of the team's 16 turnovers. Bryant Irwin tallied 14 points and Colin Reddick put up 13 and seven boards.

Both teams shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half, but Clemson had 12 more field goal attempts and went 10-of-14 from the foul line to take a 41-24 advantage into intermission.

The Tigers led by as many as 24, and the game was never in doubt after halftime.

Clemson turned the Paladins' turnovers into 29 points.
