Recap: Clemson vs. Citadel

Clemson, SC (Sports Network) - Adonis Filer went a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor and netted a game-high 21 points as Clemson easily handled Citadel, 92-51, on Tuesday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Jordan Roper scored 13 points and Damarcus Harrison donated 10 points for the Tigers (8-4), who have won three of their last four. K.J. McDaniels and Rod Hall contributed nine points apiece in the victory.

Mike Groselle scored a team-high 13 points and Dylen Setzekorn netted 11 points in the Bulldogs' (3-8) seventh consecutive loss. Citadel shot an efficient 50 percent from the floor, but turned the ball over 25 times in the setback.

The teams traded baskets early on as a layup by Setzekorn gave Citadel an 11-10 lead, but the Tigers pulled away with a 29-7 outburst to move ahead, 39-18 with just over three minutes left in the opening half.

Clemson held a comfortable 47-27 advantage at halftime and Citadel never threatened in the second 20 minutes.
