Recap: Rhode Island vs. St Bonaventure

Kingston, RI (Sports Network) - Eric Mosley poured in 21 points to lead the St. Bonaventure Bonnies to a 67-61 victory over the Rhode Island Rams in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Ryan Center.

Chris Johnson added 12 points for the Bonnies (10-11, 3-5 A-10) in their second win in three games.

Xavier Munford scored 18 points on 3-of-11 shooting from the field for URI (6-15, 1-7). Andre Malone netted 10 points while Mike Powell and Mike Aaman grabbed six rebounds each.

The a closely contested first half, SBU shot just 38.1 percent from the floor and dealt out only five assists to 10 turnovers. The Rams took a 32-26 lead into the break after converting 11-of-13 at the charity stripe in the opening 20 minutes.

The Bonnies dominated after halftime by going 13-of-28 from the field while limiting the Rams to 33.3 percent shooting.

SBU connected on 19-of-22 at the charity stripe to overcome the Rams' 36-28 edge in rebounding in the game.
