Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - Michael Snaer poured in a game-high 19 points, and the Florida State Seminoles claimed an 82-63 win over Tulsa in the Orange Bowl Classic at the BB&T Center.

Terrance Shannon added a career-high 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds off the bench for the Seminoles (8-4), winners of four straight. Okaru White chipped in with 12 points, and Devon Bookert scored 10 in the win.

Pat Swilling, Jr. had a career-high 19 points to lead the Golden Hurricane (7-6), although only two of those points came after halftime. Teammate Scottie Haralson scored 17 points, all in the second half.

Florida State shot only 36.4 percent from the floor in the first half and trailed by as many as five with 5:34 to play until halftime. However, the Seminoles closed out the period with a 14-6 spurt to take a 36-33 lead into the break.

With FSU clinging to a 46-44 lead in the opening minutes of the second stanza, Shannon scored on a layup to ignite an 18-5 run, and the Seminoles never looked back. Tulsa scored only twice in 13 possessions during the decisive stretch.

The Golden Hurricane lost despite a solid 11-of-24 effort from 3-point range, as their leading scorer, James Woodard, finished with only eight points on 2- of-10 shooting from the floor. Tulsa's 17 turnovers played into the outcome, as did FSU's 44-32 rebounding advantage.
