Recap: St Bonaventure vs. Charlotte

St. Bonaventure, NY (Sports Network) - Eric Mosley led the way with 23 points as the St. Bonaventure Bonnies blew out the Charlotte 49ers, 104-83, in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup at the Reilly Center.

For the Bonnies (14-13, 7-7 A-10), Matthew Wright added 20 points, Dion Wright chipped in with 15 points and Demitrius Conger posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, as the Bonnies won their third-straight and matched their season high for points in a game.

E. Victor Nickerson led the 49ers (18-10, 6-8) with 18 points, while Terrence Williams finished with 17 points, Ivan Benkovic scored 15 points, Pierria Henry added 12 points and Chris Braswell tallied 10 points.

St. Bonaventure dominated the opening period, going into halftime with a 53-24 lead. The Bonnies knocked down 62.5 percent of their field goal tries in the half, including 9-of-12 from beyond the 3-point arc. Charlotte struggled from floor, making only 25 percent of its shots from the field.

After the break, both squads shot very well, with the Bonnies shooting 55.6 percent from the field and the 49ers 47.4 percent. Charlotte got no closer than 16 in the second half, as St. Bonaventure cruised to victory.

The Bonnies had the slight edge in rebounding, 39-36. Charlotte had the advantage on points off turnovers, 24-21.
