Recap: Georgia Tech vs. NC State

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Paced by a game-high 18 points from Richard Howell, the NC State Wolfpack went on the road to down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 70-57, in an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown at McCamish Pavilion.

T.J. Warren netted 14 points and C.J. Leslie tallied 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals for NC State (21-8, 10-6 ACC), which has won five of six. Lorenzo Brown chipped in nine points and seven assists for the visitors.

Georgia Tech (15-13, 5-11) was without a double-digit scorer in the game, with Mfon Udofia leading the way with nine points. The Yellow Jackets have fallen in three of their last four.

NC State led by as many as 14 in the first half, but Georgia Tech sparked a run over the last six minutes of the stanza to bring its deficit to just three, 36-33, heading into intermission.

The Wolfpack's field goal efficiency dipped from 44.1 percent in the first half to 40.9 percent in the second half, but they went 15-of-21 from the foul line in the final 20 minutes while holding the Yellow Jackets to under 29 from the field to pull away.

NC State won the turnover battle, 15-10.
