Recap: Maryland vs. Morehead State

College Park, MD (Sports Network) - Nick Faust scored a game-high 12 points, leading the Maryland Terrapins to a 67-45 destruction of the Morehead State Eagles at the Comcast Center.

Faust shot 4-of-6 from the floor in the victory for Maryland (1-1), while Alex Len contributed 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots.

Milton Chavis led the Eagles (1-1) in scoring with 10 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field.

Despite shooting a mediocre 37.5 percent from the floor in the first half, Maryland outscored Morehead State 35-19. The Eagles were a mere 1-of-10 from three-point range and shot 27.6 percent from the field through the first 20 minutes of action.

In the second half the Terrapins shot a highly efficient 60.9 percent from the field, en route to their first win of the season.

The Eagles shot a miserable 1-of-14 from beyond the arc for the game. The two teams combined for 40 turnovers, 20 by each squad.
