Recap: Maryland vs. Wake Forest

College Park, MD (Sports Network) - Logan Aronhalt scored 13 points to lead six Maryland players in double-figures as the Terrapins defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 86-60, in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup at the Comcast Center.

Following Aronhalt, Jake Layman, James Padgett, Alex Len, and Seth Allen all scored 12 points each while Dez Wells added 11 for the Terps (16-6, 4-5 ACC), who ended a two-game slump. Len led the team with nine rebounds and three blocks.

Wake Forest (10-11, 3-6) had four players in double-digit scoring as Travis McKie managed 15 points and six rebounds. Codi Miller-McIntyre followed with 14 points, Devin Thomas added 12, and C.J. Harris scored 10 points to go along with three steals. It was the third loss in a row for the Demon Deacons and fifth in the last six games.

In the second half, Maryland continued its fine shooting, making 62.1 percent of its shots from the floor and knocking down 7-of-11 3-point attempts to outscore Wake Forest, 44-35.

The Terps earned a dominating, 42-21, rebounding edge over the Demon Deacons and shot 11-of-16 from beyond the arc while Wake Forest finished 8-of-24 from distance.
