Recap: George Washington vs. Fordham

Washington, D.C. (Sports Network) - Kevin Larsen recorded a game-high 15 points as the George Washington Colonials defeated the Fordham Rams, 68-60, in Atlantic 10 Conference play at the Smith Center.

Lasan Kromah contributed 13 points and four steals off the bench for the Colonials (12-12, 6-5 A-10). Isaiah Armwood was two points shy of a double- double with 12 rebounds.

For the Rams (6-21, 2-10), Chris Gaston recorded a team-high 14 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Brandon Frazier added 13 points and five assists. Travion Leonard chipped in 12 points and Mandell Thomas contributed 10 points as Fordham fell for the seventh game in a row.

Fordham made 12-of-25 attempts from the floor in the first half. However, George Washington made 15-of-27 of its field goal tries en route to a 36-32 advantage at the break.

Despite George Washington failing to make a single 3-pointer and going 12- of-26 at the free-throw line after the break, it still managed to extend its lead by four points in the second half.

The Colonials forced 22 turnovers, and also dominated points in the paint, 44-20.
