Recap: Dayton vs. Manhattan

Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Kevin Dillard scored 20 points in leading the Dayton Flyers to a 66-58 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers at UD Arena.

Dillard connected on 6-of-8 shots in the game and Devin Oliver had a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double for Dayton (4-1). Vee Sanford also got in the mix with 19 points.

George Beamon paced Manhattan (1-3) with 19 points while Emmy Andujar added 12.

The Flyers held a 33-28 lead at the end of the first half by shooting 48.0 percent from the floor. Manhattan was just behind at 41.7 percent including a 4-of-10 showing from beyond the arc.

Both team's improved in the second half with the Jaspers connecting on an even 50.0 percent of their field goal attempts. That was no match for Dayton which shot 58.8 percent from the field in the second frame.

Dayton forced 25 turnovers which it converted into 24 points.
