Recap: VA Commonwealth vs. Dayton

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Treveon Graham scored 24 points for the Virginia Commonwealth Rams as they topped the Dayton Flyers, 74-62, for an Atlantic 10 victory at the Siegel Center.

Graham was 7-of-12 from the floor and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free- throw line for the Rams (13-3, 1-0 A-10), who have now won 10 games in a row. Juvonte Reddic tallied 14 points and nine rebounds, while Troy Daniels added 12 points.

Kevin Dillard was the only Dayton (10-5, 0-1) player to score in double- figures with 17 points, but he also recorded seven turnovers. Devin Oliver played a well-rounded game with 11 rebounds, nine points, five assists, and four steals.

VCU led 36-32 after the first half thanks to shooting 48.1 percent from the floor and forcing 12 Dayton turnovers.

The Rams outscored the Flyers 38-30 in the second half as Dayton committed 14 more turnovers. VCU turned the 26 giveaways on the night into 30 points.

VCU had a great showing from the foul line, shooting 19-of-21 from the stripe, while Dayton was only 11-of-16 on its free throw attempts.
