Recap: NC State vs. Wake Forest

Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - C.J. Leslie finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks to lead the NC State Wolfpack to an 81-66 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown at PNC Arena.

Lorenzo Brown filled the stat sheet with 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds for NC State (22-8, 11-6 ACC), which has won three straight games and six of its last seven. Freshmen T.J. Warren and Rodney Purvis had 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Devin Thomas tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds for Wake Forest (12-17, 5-12). Travis McKie had 12 points, while Madison Jones went for 10 points and a career-high six assists off the bench.

Wake Forest led 12-5 early on but NC State responded and led 39-25 at halftime after forcing 10 turnovers and holding the Demon Deacons to 37 percent from the field.

NC State had 11 second chance points in the final 20 minutes and led by double figures throughout.

The Wolfpack improved to 137-100 against Wake Forest all-time.
