Recap: Richmond vs. Duquesne

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Terry Allen came off the bench to score 17 points on a perfect 7-of-7 from the field as the Richmond Spiders closed out the Atlantic 10 Conference regular season in style with a 79-55 triumph over the Duquesne Dukes at the Robins Center.

Darien Brothers netted 14 points for Richmond (18-13, 8-8 A-10), which has secured a spot in the A-10 Tournament. Kendall Anthony and Derrick Williams added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Derrick Colter scored 18 points and Quevyn Winters had 12 points for Duquesne (8-22, 1-15), who finish up the season alone in last place.

Richmond outshot Duquesne from the field in the first half, 46.9 percent to 36 percent, as it went into intermission with a comfortable 42-26 lead.

The Spiders' field goal efficiency improved to 57.1 percent after intermission and they led by as many as 36.

Richmond had 22 assists on its 31 field goals and committed only eight turnovers.
