George Washington (4-3) at Bradley (5-2) (ET)

GAME NOTES: The Bradley Braves continue their four-game home stand on Tuesday night, as they play host to the George Washington Colonials in non-conference action at Carver Arena.

After losing three of its first five games, George Washington has bounced back to post two straight wins to move to 4-3. The Colonials squeaked by James Madison with a 54-53 road victory on Nov. 28, prior to returning to Washington, D.C. on Sunday to defeat Manhattan, 67-55, in the BB&T Classic.

Bradley has started the season with an impressive 5-2 record, although it has lost both of its games against major conference teams. The Braves dropped a road bout to South Florida on Nov. 20, 82-63, they then fought hard against Michigan at home last Saturday, but wound up falling to the nation's third- ranked team, 74-66.

The Braves have beaten the Colonials three of the five times the schools have met over the years, the most recent of which being a 67-66 decision on the road last December.

George Washington has gotten off to a modest start to the season shooting wise, as it connects on 45.2 percent of its field goal attempts in averaging 64.3 ppg. Sunday's effort was similarly mediocre (.444), but it managed to put forth a solid effort at the foul line (24-of-29) while holding Manhattan to just 33.9 percent shooting from the field in the 12-point victory. Isaiah Armwood had a career-day in the win, tallying 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor, while also adding nine rebounds and six blocked shots. Lasan Kromah was also impressive with 18 points, and Patricio Garino chipped in with 10 points. With the effort, Armwood shot up the team's scoring chart as he currently sits with 13.1 ppg while adding team-bests in rebounds (8.6 pg) and blocks (3.0 pg) as well. Kromah has made better than 58 percent of his total shots for 11.9 ppg, and Garino (8.6 ppg), Kevin Larsen (8.4 ppg, 6.7 rpg) and Joe McDonald (8.0) are also important pieces to the puzzle for GW.

Bradley was impressive against Michigan, shooting 52 percent from the floor, but it committed 15 turnovers and lost the rebounding battle, 32-24, as it fell to one of the nation's elite teams. The Braves put forth a balanced scoring effort with five players in double figures, paced by 15 points on 7- of-11 field goal shooting by Walt Lemon, Jr. Tyshon Pickett added 11 points and eight rebounds, while Will Egolf, Jalen Crawford and Jordan Prosser each tallied 10 points. The Braves have been able to ride a well-rounded offensive attack to nearly 75 ppg. Lemon, Jr. leads the way with 13.4 ppg, but the squad also counts on consistent production from Picket (12.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg), Egolf (10.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg), Jake Eastman (10.0 ppg), Dyricus Simms-Edwards (9.9 ppg) and Prosser (9.0 ppg). Despite the plethora of scoring options, Bradley has not seen much success from beyond the arc, making just 29-of-103 attempts (.282).

George Washington has shown in its last few games that it has the pieces in place to perhaps make some noise in the Atlantic 10 Conference this year, but Bradley has impressed in the early-going with its depth, and at home, the Braves should be able to take care of business.
