Recap: Rider vs. La Salle

Lawrenceville, NJ (Sports Network) - Tyreek Duren scored 20 points without missing a shot from the floor to lead the La Salle Explorers to a 63-52 road victory over the Rider Broncs at Alumni Gymnasium.

Duren shot a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor and added six assists for the Explorers (4-1). Ramon Galloway chipped in 17 points.

Anthony Myles and Daniel Stewart each went for 12 points and nine rebounds for the Broncs (4-4). Nurideen Lindsey, who came into the contest as the team's leading scorer, netted just five points and converted just 3-of-7 attempts from the foul line.

The Explorers jumped out to a 24-6 advantage midway through the first half thanks to hot shooting and tough defense. They made six three-pointers in the period and led 34-23 at the break. Rider failed to knock down a single outside shot and trailed despite outrebounding La Salle before the break. Duren and Galloway each had 10 first half points to lead the visitors.

Rider cut the deficit to seven late in the second half but was unable to get any closer.

The Broncs assisted just six of 19 made field goal while La Salle recorded assists on more than half of it's baskets in the contest.

La Salle improved to 25-7 all-time against the Broncs.
