Recap: Siena vs. La Salle

Albany, NY (Sports Network) - Ramon Galloway scored 22 points as the La Salle Explorers routed the Siena Saints, 80-52, in a non-conference tilt at the Times Union Center.

Tyreek Duren added 13 points and D.J. Peterson chipped in 11 points off the bench for La Salle (9-2) which has won three straight.

O.D. Anosike posted a 14-point, 16-rebound double-double for Siena (2-11). Anosike also reached the 1,000 career point plateau in the game. Rakeem Brookins added 10 points for the Saints who have lost nine straight.

Despite shooting just 38.9 percent from the field in the first half, La Salle led 39-24 at intermission by nailing seven 3-pointers. Siena shot just 33.3 percent and hit just 1-of-6 shots from beyond the arc.

The Explorers improved to 63.0 percent shooting in the second half and hit 6-of-7 shots from distance en route to the 28-point victory.

La Salle outscored the Saints by a 32-22 margin on points in the paint.
