Recap: Temple vs. Saint Louis

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Anthony Lee recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Temple Owls posted a 64-54 win over the Saint Louis Billikens in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Liacouras Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Owls (11-4, 1-1 A-10) was Khalif Wyatt who registered a game-high 24 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor, including 3-of-4 behind the 3-point line, as the team snapped a two-game slide.

The Billikens (12-4, 1-1) were paced by Rob Loe who posted 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Dwayne Evans came up a point shy of his own double-double as he cleared 13 boards for a team that had a nine-game win streak halted.

Temple connected on 54.2 percent from the floor in the first half, including 3-of-7 beyond the arc, allowing the hosts to claim a 34-26 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Owls cooled to 41.7 percent accuracy, but at the same time Saint Louis made a total of only nine field goals and was 1-of-11 behind the 3-point line, as Temple held on for the victory.

The visitors shot just 4-of-21 beyond the arc in the meeting.
