Recap: Buffalo vs. Temple

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Anthony Lee scored 10 points as the Temple Owls defeated the Buffalo Bulls, 54-39, at Alumni Arena.

Lee also cleared seven rebounds for the Owls (4-0), while Will Cummings added nine points and six boards and both Khalif Wyatt and Quenton DeCosey contributed eight points for the visitors.

Javon McCrea scored a game-high 14 points for a Buffalo (2-6) squad that last scored less than 40 points back during the 2002-03 season when the it lost to Miami, 63-35.

Temple opened the game with 13-2 run as it carried a 31-16 lead into halftime.

Both teams scored 26 points in the second half while the Bulls never got back within 10 points of the Owls.

The Owls took advantage of 17 turnovers by Buffalo and converted them into 25 points.
