Recap: Ole Miss vs. Auburn

Oxford, MS (Sports Network) - Marshall Henderson scored 28 points for the Ole Miss Rebels who defeated the Auburn Tigers, 88-55, in an SEC matchup at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Henderson was outstanding from long range and hit on 8-of-12 3-pointer attempts for the Rebels (20-7, 9-5 SEC), who have won two of their last three. Derrick Millinghaus scored 14 points and LaDarius White added 13 while Murphy Holloway recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Shaquille Johnson led the Tigers (9-18, 3-11) with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. It was the fifth consecutive loss for the Tigers.

The Rebels led 44-27 at halftime after shooting 50.0 percent from the field, hitting seven 3-pointers, and earning 13 points at the free-throw line in the first half.

Ole Miss shot 57.7 percent from the floor in the second half to complete the dominating win.

The Rebels went 13-of-25 from 3-point range and shot 54.0 percent from the field while Auburn shot just 39.3 percent from the field and went 3-of-18 from long-range.
