Recap: Kentucky vs. Eastern Mich

Lexington, KY (Sports Network) - Kyle Wiltjer paced five teammates in double figures with 17 points as the Kentucky Wildcats dismantled the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 90-38, in non-conference action at Rupp Arena.

Alex Poythress scored 16 points for Kentucky (9-4), while Ryan Harrow added 15 points, eight assists, and four steals. Julius Mays chipped in 13 points, Willie Cauley-Stein tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Nerlens Noel grabbed 13 boards for the Wildcats, who have won five of six.

For EMU (7-6), which shot just 24.2 percent from the floor, only Glenn Bryant scored in double-digits with 10 points.

Kentucky shot a modest 44 percent from the field in the first half, but it was nonetheless able to open up a commanding 38-14 halftime lead thanks in part to a 12-of-16 showing from the foul line.

The Wildcats improved to 57.1 percent shooting after intermission on their way to the dominating 52-point win.

Kentucky held a 52-27 advantage on the boards and forced 19 EMU turnovers.
