Recap: Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M

Oxford, MS (Sports Network) - Marshall Henderson recorded a team-high 18 points off the bench as the Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Texas A&M Aggies, 82-73, in an SEC clash at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Murphy Holloway was one rebound shy of a double-double with 16 points for the Rebels (21-7, 10-5 SEC). Jarvis Summers added 15 points and Reginald Buckner put up 12 points and three blocks, as Ole Miss won its second straight game.

For the Aggies (16-12, 6-9), Elston Turner recorded a game-high 25 points, Fabyon Harris contributed 17 points off the bench, and Kourtney Roberson tallied up a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Texas A&M has now lost back-to-back games.

Both teams made 13 field goals in the first half, but Ole Miss shot 4-of-9 from 3-point range and 7-of-11 from the foul line as it took a 37-31 lead into intermission.

In the second half, both teams shot over 55 percent from the floor, but the Rebels continued to play the frontrunner, leading by as many as 18.

Ole Miss scored 27 points off of 16 Texas A&M turnovers.
