Recap: Texas A&M vs. Missouri

College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Fabyon Harris hit a game-winning 3- pointer with 11.1 seconds to play as Texas A&M took a thrilling 70-68 win over No. 21 Missouri on Thursday.

Harris went 3-for-4 from behind the arc and finished the game with 17 points, while Elston Turner gave 15 points for the Aggies (14-8, 4-5 SEC), who had lost five of six coming in.

"I know it was really exciting there at the end, but I thought we came out ready to play," Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy said. "We hadn't had good starts the last few games, but we came out with a really good start, sharing the ball and making shots."

Alex Oriakhi had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers (16-6, 5-4), who had won three of their last four. Phil Pressey added 13 points, but also had seven turnovers, including one that led to the winning bucket.

Missouri had trailed by 15 points before clawing its way back and tying the game at 63-all after a Pressey jumper with 2:19 to play. After an exchange of baskets, Turner put in a pull-up jumper for a 67-65 lead with 1:18 left.

Ray Turner then blocked a Tony Criswell shot, but the inbounds found a wide open Laurence Bowers to the left and he buried the 3-pointer for a 68-67 lead with 50.8 seconds left.

Coming out of the timeout, Harris turned the ball over, but Pressey then threw the ball out of bounds on an errant pass and Texas A&M had the ball back with 24 seconds left.

With Alex Caruso holding the ball, he kicked it out to the right and Harris buried it for a 70-68 lead with 11.1 seconds showing.

The Tigers hurried down the court and Pressey put up a 3-point attempt, but it hit the rim and Keion Bell was blocked by Turner as he tried to get a shot off underneath.

"Obviously, it was a tough loss for us. I thought our guys fought hard to get back in the game, but we just weren't able to finish it. Give A&M credit, they competed and played very well," Missouri coach Frank Haith said.

After the game was tied at 4-4 early, Texas A&M led for the rest of the half after Turner hit a 3-pointer.

The Aggies led by as many as 11 in the opening 20 minutes, but the Tigers were able to keep it close and trailed 36-30 at the break

A layup from J'Mychal Turner with 13:57 to play gave the Aggies a 52-37 lead before Missouri came charging back.
